The Norman Rea Gallery’s second exhibition of the year features the sculptural work of the artist Rafael Perez.
A mixture of Perez’s wall works and installation pieces will be featured, creating an exciting display of his work.
Rafael Perez’s sculptures highlight the emotional connection between the viewer and the artwork.
There is a sense of peace at the heart of his work that gives it a certain fractured ineffability; a kind of desolate success
to the finished product. The unfinished quality to Perez’s work reminds us that an object does not have to
be perfect to transmit beauty and emotionally stimulate us.
Perez focuses on the body as a portal to the common feelings and situations that
we all go through in our lives, feelings that change and move us.
Come along to the opening night of ‘The Way It Felt’ on Monday 27th October
to enjoy some complimentary wine and an engaging exhibit of sculptural creations.
